Text tools are on the way
This category is waiting for its first tool. Typography, text effects and lettering are on the list, and they will appear here when they are ready rather than when the menu looks tidier.
In the meantime there is somewhere useful to send you. Text as a drawing medium – letters and punctuation arranged so the shape reads as a picture – is the whole subject of our sister site, and several of its tools are precisely what this category is for. ASCII art is the oldest form of computer graphics still in everyday use, and it is still the only kind you can paste into a code comment, a commit message or a terminal.
- Text to ASCII Art – turn a word or a name into a banner, in a long list of lettering styles.
- ASCII Draw Studio – draw directly in characters, on a canvas built for it.
- Border Maker – build a frame around a block of text, character by character.
- Divider Maker – separator lines for readme files, code comments and forum posts.
When Graphynia's own text tools arrive they will live on this page, and these will stay where they are – they are good at something we are not planning to duplicate.
